The Black Hills Stock Show Foundation holds fundraising activities that promote interests and involvement in Foundation programs that are growing in popularity every year. There are several ways to become a supporter of the Foundation's mission.

The Foundation's purpose is two-fold; raising monies that fund important grant and scholarship awards and creating environments that encourage the involvement of people with varied business and social interests yet who share a common bond in recognizing the ongoing need to ... COWBOY CLASSIC GOLF TOURNAMENT
August  2003, Elks Golf Course, Rapid City, South Dakota

STRAP ON YOUR SPURS and grab your clubs for the annual Cowboy Classic Golf Tournament. This four-person scramble features prizes on every hole, along with special awards for top teams. The day includes a western barbecue lunch and a $5,000 shopping spree for the cowboy hitting that elusive hole-in-one. By the way ... carts are provided, horses aren't required.

THE SOCIAL EVENT OF STOCK SHOW WEEK,  the Stockman's Banquet and Ball is the setting for this auction that features contemporary Western pieces in a variety of mediums. Proceeds from the auction benefit the Foundationís Youth Scholarship program. Introductions of the top three scholarship winners and grant recipients are also made during this fun-filled evening.
