BHSSF: People Who Make A Difference

Beginning in 1992, the Black Hills Stock Show & Rodeo implemented a program to recognize individuals for their contributions to the event and all its related programs.

Whether through long-time participation in events, providing years of service related contributions or both, many of these individuals have played a role in furthering the growth and expansion of the Black Hills Stock Show & Rodeo.

In more recent years, the criteria for consideration of the designation in each category has also included individuals who while not having a history with the event itself, have made a contribution to agricultural issues affecting communities, states and region.

Lynn Husman, President
  BHSS Foundation

The Black Hills Stock Show Foundation is proud to have included  here, individuals who are active directors, past directors or current members of the Foundation’s Stockman’s Club. These recipients have made a difference through their contributions to preserve and bring continued awareness to the founding principles that are the cornerstone of the Black Hills Stock Show & Rodeo. They are also recognized for their professional contributions to agricultural interests, industries and communities. Each of them play a role in furthering the BHSS Foundation's mission: "Preserving The Legacy, Investing In The Future.”
