The Cowboy Heritage Auction has grown to be the biggest Old West Collector’s Event in South Dakota … and the most popular winter Old West Event in the northern United States. In most recent years, the auction has come to attract national attention.

This is a fast-moving, high-quality auction that features something for everyone interested in Cowboy and Old West history and memorabilia, from beginners to advanced collectors.

The Cowboy Heritage Auction is a Black Hills Stock Show Foundation event. The sale is organized, managed, presented and auctioneered by an entire staff of volunteer help.

Commissions from the sale go to the Foundation for youth scholarships awarded in five states, annual support of the Western Junior Livestock & Home Economics Show, and the Foundation's regional grant programs.
